    The Book of Isaiah

    Chapter 1 V.1 Part 3.3 Asherah 4

(Bear in mind…I’m still digging under the reference of Isaiah 1:1 at this time, and what is following is the result of that search, but fair warning…it’s a vast amount of information and is quite complex. Also bear in mind that the deities presented here are only presented to give clarity to the identity of the same false goddess and to demonstrate the origins of that theology and the various cultures, forms and names of this false deity under this theology.)

We find Asherah again in several other places and cultures. (I’m going to have to split this part into at least two posts.) She’s known as:

Tiamat in Sumerian mythology; Ishtar (Inanna), and Ninsun in Mesopotamia; Asherah in Canaan; `Ashtart in Syria; and Aphrodite in Greece; the Irish goddess Anu, sometimes known as Danu. Amongst the Germanic tribes a female goddess was probably worshipped in the Nordic Bronze Age religion, which was later known as the Nerthus of Germanic mythology, and possibly living on in the Norse mythology worship of Freya, after whom Friday is named. Her counterpart in Scandinavia was the male deity Njord. Other goddesses in different pantheons also may be considered mother goddesses.

(Please note what looks familiar in the pictures and stories to what you know of in other religions today (ie: the disk of light behind the images which may be indicative of the status of being a god of either the sun or the moon depending on the form of the disk depicted, and the snake).

In Roman mythology, Diana was the goddess of the hunt, in literature she was the equivalent of the Greek goddess Artemis, though in cult she was Italic in origin. Artemis was born with her twin brother Apollo on the island of Delos, daughter of Zeus and Leto. Diana, on the other hand, was the daughter of Jupiter and Latona.

Diana was the hunting goddess, associated with wild animals and woodlands. She also later became a moon goddess, supplanting Luna, and was an emblem of chastity. Oak groves were especially sacred to her. She was praised in poetry for her strength, athletic grace, distinct beauty and hunting skill. In practice she made up a trinity with two other Roman deities: Egeria the water nymph, her servant and assistant midwife; and Virbius, the woodland god. In her etymology, “Diana” is simply :”the Goddess”, with a Greek parallel in the name — though not the cult practice — of Dione at Dodona. She was goddess of fertility and quick to anger. Diana worship is mentioned in the book of Acts in the Bible (Chapter 19, verses 21-41).

    Diana

    450px-Diana_by_Augustus_Saint-Gaudens_01

Diana was regarded with great reverence by lower-class citizens and slaves; slaves could receive asylum in her temples.

Though some Roman patrons ordered marble replicas of the specifically Anatolian “Diana” of Ephesus, where the Temple of Artemis stood, Diana was usually depicted for educated Romans in her Greek guise.

Both the Romanian word for “fairy”, zânǎ[6] and the Asturian word for “water nymph”, xana, seem to come from the name of Diana. Today there is a branch of Wicca named for her, which is characterized by an exclusive focus on the feminine aspect of the Divine.

    Amaterasu Omikami: Sun Goddess

    Amaterasu

In the Aegean, Anatolian, and ancient Near Eastern culture zones, a mother goddess was worshipped in the forms of Cybele (revered in Rome as Magna Mater, the ‘Great Mother’), of Gaia, and of Rhea.

Kuan Yin, “Hearer of the Cries of the World,” and the Bodhisattva of Compassion.

    kuan yin 4

The Olympian goddesses of classical Greece had many characters with mother goddess attributes, including Hera and Demeter. Aphrodite’s counterpart in Roman mythology, Venus, eventually was adopted as a Mother Goddess figure. Magna Dea could be applied to a goddess at the head of a pantheon, such as Juno or Minerva, or a goddess worshipped monotheistically.

    Aphrodite

    Aphrodite_by_Boticelli

The term “Great Goddess” itself can refer to a mother goddess in contemporary Neopagan and Wiccan religions. Umai, also known as Ymai or Mai, is the mother goddess of the Turkic Siberians. She is depicted as having sixty golden tresses that resemble the rays of the sun. She is thought to have once been identical with Ot of the Mongols.

    Shiva

    shiva 1

It is interesting to note that Shiva’s consort is called Parvati and also Uma. And in India the mother worship also is called Devi Maa or Maya. The Rigveda calls the divine female power, Mahimata (R.V. 1.164.33), a term which literally means Mother Earth.

    Kali

    kali 3

At places, the Vedic literature alludes to her as Viraj, the universal mother, as Aditi, the mother of gods, and as Ambhrini, the one born of the Primeval Ocean. Durga represents the empowering and protective nature of motherhood. An incarnation of Durga is Kali, who came from her forehead during war (as a means of defeating Durga’s enemy, Mahishasura). Durga and her incarnations are particularly worshipped in Bengal.

    Durga

    durga2

Today, Devi is seen in manifold forms, all representing the creative force in the world, as Maya and prakriti, the force that galvanizes the divine ground of existence into self-projection as the cosmos. She is not merely the Earth, although even this perspective is covered by Parvati (Durga’s previous incarnation). The feminine energy, Shakti, is considered to be the motive force behind all action and existence in the phenomenal cosmos in Hinduism.

Again…all of these false deities were all the offspring of the original Egyptian pantheon of false gods, which have infiltrated all these various cultures over the centuries and our culture as well. The others I found will be continued in the next post, so that you will recognize them whenever you may encounter them and their theologies. I will also get to where this originated from…eventually. The worship of these gods started in Egypt, but the origin of this plan of the enemy…began much earlier than that.

  • The Book of Isaiah Chapter 1 V.1 Part 3.3 Asherah 3

    The Book of Isaiah

    Chapter 1 V.1 Part 3.3 Asherah 3

In looking at the Canaanite gods and their similarities to the Egyptian gods, remember, Canaan was the son of Ham, the son of Noah, who survived the flood, probably bringing that theology with him from Cainite theology. Remember too, that Ham’s people went down into Egypt. Abraham encountered this there as well, but these gods were part of the religion that Abraham was raised up under, and that his father Terah made, which is why his father wanted them to go to Canaan, and subsequently caused the “delay” he is named for.

The claim concerning these goddesses is that the Hebrew women worshiped them because they felt no connectivity to an all male Hebrew God. In light of the fact that women were treated much like cattle and property, this is almost understandable, but scripture is specific about not worshiping false gods. This will bring us back into present times, but before I go there, there are a few more things about this goddess that you need to know; her identity in other cultures so that you will recognize her and be able to distinguish between falsehoods and the truth. Then I will show you where all of this originates from.

Hathor was worshipped in Canaan in the eleventh century BC, which at that time was ruled by Egypt, at her holy city of Hazor, or Tel Hazor which the Old Testament claims was destroyed by Joshua (Joshua 11:13, 21).

    Hathor

    180px-Hathor

The Sinai Tablets show that the Hebrew workers in the mines of Sinai about 1500 BC worshipped Hathor, whom they identified with their goddess Astarte. Some theories state that the golden calf mentioned in the Bible was meant to refer to a statue of the goddess Hathor (Exodus 32:4-32:6.).

The Greeks, who became rulers of Egypt for three hundred years before the Roman domination in 31 BC, also loved Hathor and equated her with their own goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite.

When Horus became identified as Ra in the changing Egyptian pantheon, under the name Ra-Horakhty, Hathor’s position became unclear, since in later myths she had been the wife of Ra, but in earlier myths she was the mother of Horus. Hathor became identified only as the mother of the new sun god. However, this left open the unsolved question of how Hathor could be his mother, since this would imply that Ra-Herakhty was a child of Hathor, rather than a creator. Such inconsistencies developed as the Egyptian pantheon changed over the thousands of years becoming very complex, and some were never resolved.

In areas where the cult of Thoth became strong, Thoth was identified as the creator, leading to it being said that Thoth was the father of Ra-Horakhty, thus in this version Hathor, as the mother of Ra-Horakhty, was referred to as Thoth’s wife. In this version of what is called the Ogdoad cosmogeny, Ra-Herakhty was depicted as a young child, often referred to as Neferhor. When considered the wife of Thoth, Hathor often was depicted as a woman nursing her child.

Some of the Black Madonna icons are believed by some to derive from depictions of ancient goddesses, in particular the Egyptian Goddess Isis with her child Horus sitting on her lap.

There is no dispute that many ancient cultures worshipped female deities who match the modern conception of a “mother goddess” as part of their pantheons. The following shows the many names given to these deities in different parts of the world, but it is one and the same…the same false god we first hear of from Eygpt. For example, as you saw above, the Hathor and Isis’ name changes and inconsistencies were all concerning the same deity. So the following are examples from different parts of the world. Also, please note the sun shaped dial or crown on her head. That represents the sun god Baal or Ra as he was known in Egypt. That sun crown moved in position from the top of the head to the back of the head, surrounding or illuminating it in light as the gods/goddesses evolved within different cultures.

The goddess Asherah, whose worship Jeremiah so vehemently opposed, was worshipped in ancient Israel and Judah as the consort of Yahweh and Queen of Heaven (the Hebrews baked small cakes for her festival):

    Asherah

Asherah’s name means “Lady of the Sea,” and she was considered the “tree of life” by her followers. (I think this rendering resembles Susan Lucci.)

    asherah

Her followers believe that Moses and Aaron both carried one of these Asherah “poles” as a sacred staff of power, and that the children of Israel were once dramatically healed simply by gazing at the staff with serpents suspended from it. This symbol, the snakes and the staff, has become the modern universal symbol for doctors and healers.* Asherah was also widely known in the Middle Eastern ancient world as a Goddess of Healing.

This looks so much like an accurate depiction of the bondage of serving an idol. Other representations of this symbol are as follows:

    medical_image   medical-symbol-small-blue

    ist2_1885406_medical_caduceus

    Examples of the original version:

    asherah tree 2    Asherah pole1

“Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.”

    —Jeremiah 7:17–18

” A rudely carved wooden statue planted on the ground of the house was Asherah’s symbol, and sometimes a clay statue without legs. Her cult images— “idols”— were found also in forests, carved on living trees, or in the form of poles beside altars that were placed at the side of some roads. Asherah poles are mentioned in the books of Exodus, Deuteronomy, Judges, the Books of Kings, the second Book of Chronicles, and the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Micah.

Also bear in mind that the deities presented here are only presented to give clarity to the same false goddess and to demonstrate the origins of that theology and the various cultures, forms and names of this false deity under this theology. Note the similarities in some of the names. Satan is the king of the counterfeit.)

This theological system which began in the Delta, at Heliopolis and is called the Heliopolitan Theological System not far from the head of the Delta, was very well accepted because Atum could easily be made chief god in a local area, or a local goddess could become his consort, which eventually increased the Egyptian pantheon.

The pantheon was conceived as a divine family, headed by the supreme god El; the gods collectively made up the Elohim:

    ·         Anat, Goddess of War and Strife, wife and sister of Ba’al Hadad

    ·         Asherah walker of the sea, Mother Goddess, wife of El (also known as Elat)

    ·         Astarte, possibly androgynous divinity associated with Venus

    ·         Baalat or Baalit, the wife or female counterpart of Baal (also Belili)

    ·         Ba’al Hadad, storm God, superseded El as head of the Pantheon

    ·         Baal-Hammon, god of fertility and renewer of all energies in the Phoenician colonies of the Western Mediterranean

    ·         Dagon, god of crop fertility.

    ·         El Elyon (i.e. God most high) and El

    ·         Eshmun or Baalat Asclepius, god of healing

    ·         Kotharat

    ·         Kathirat, goddesses of marriage and pregnancy

    ·         Kothar, Hasis, the skilled, god of craftsmanship

    ·         Lotan, serpent ally of Yam

    ·         Melqart, king of the city, the underworld and cycle of vegetation in Tyre

    ·         Moloch, “king” of child sacrifices

    ·         Mot, God of Death

    ·         Qadeshtu, Holy One, Goddess of Love

    ·         Resheph God of Plague and healing

    ·         Shalim and Shachar

    ·         Shamayim, the God of the Heavens.

    ·         Shemesh

    ·         Tehwom, Goddess of the “Deeps”

    ·         Yam-nahar or Yam, also called Judge Nahar

    ·         Yarikh God of the moon

    ·         Zedek

    Phoenician gods

    Further information: Canaanite religion

The following were among the deities in the Phoenician or Canaanite pantheon.[7]

    ·         Adon(is), handsome young god

    ·         Anath, goddess of Love and war, the maiden

    ·         Asherah or Baalat Gubl, goddess of Byblos

    ·         Astarte (or Ashtarte), queen of Heaven

    ·         Baal, El, Ruler of the Universe, son of Dagan, rider of the clouds, Almighty, Lord of the Earth

    ·         Baal-Hammon, god of fertility and renewer of all energies in the Phoenician colonies of the Western Mediterranean

    ·         Baal-Sidon, this could just mean ‘god of Sidon’, also possible is that it was a deification of a patriarch

    ·         Dagon, god of crop fertility.

    ·         Eshmun or Baalat Asclepius, god of healing

    ·         Kathirat, goddesses of marriage and pregnancy

    ·         Kothar-wa-Khasis, the skilled, god of craftsmanship

    ·         Melqart, king of the underworld and cycle of vegetation

    ·         Mot, god of death and of the underworld.

    ·         Resheph, god of illnesses and plagues.

    ·         Shamash, god of the Sun

    ·         Shahar, god of dawn

    ·         Shalim, god of dusk

    ·         Shapash, sun goddess

    ·         Tanit, chief goddess of Carthage

    ·         Yamm, god of the sea, judge of the dead.

    ·         Yarikh, moon god

Astarte was connected with fertility, sexuality, and war. Her symbols were the lion, the horse, the sphinx, the dove, and a star within a circle indicating the planet Venus. Pictorial representations often show her naked.

The star within a circle is a hexagon, which is used in Baal worship and witchcraft.

Astarte was accepted by the Greeks under the name of Aphrodite. The island of Cyprus, one of Astarte’s greatest faith centers, supplied the name Cypris as Aphrodite’s most common byname. Other major centers of Astarte’s worship were Sidon, Tyre, and Byblos.

Occasionally a ruler in Judah or Israel would bring some Canaanite goddess back into the temple or town shrines and an Israelite equivalent of Astarte, Qadesh, or Hathor.

One interesting manifestation of what was deemed the female divine power continued to accompany the Israelites; this was the “Ashrah,” a wooden “fertility pole,” also believed to be Hathor who was also a tree-goddess.

    asherah tree

This bit on the pantheons came from wikipedia. Note some of the biblical names of God (El/Elohim) being used by this sect in whole or in part. This is to assert the claim that we are all worshiping the same god which is a false claim.

The individual studies may give you some understanding in the context of that individual section, but the overall scope of this will not be understood unless you follow through the entire study. Bear in mind…I’m still digging under the reference of Isaiah 1:1 at this time, and what is following is the result of that search, but fair warning…it’s a vast amount of information and is quite complex.)

When I began looking up Ashtoreh or Asherah I found some very interesting things. I am giving you snipets of what I found, but it’s a lot. I am focusing on certain aspects of this non-biblical history so you can see where these things tie together to what the bible is referring to. I am not presenting this because I believe in it, but so that the dots can be connected to the history, and we can see what was really happening and being represented then and now. Hopefully, I can show you the links to the past, as well as to the present throughout the course of this study.

Isis is a goddess in Egyptian mythology. She is the wife and sister of Osiris and mother of Horus, and was worshipped as the archetypal wife and mother.

Her name literally means “(female) of throne”, that is, “Queen of the throne”, which was portrayed by the emblem worn on her head, that of a throne. However, the hieroglyph of her name originally meant “(female) of flesh”, i.e. mortal, and she may simply have represented deified, historical queens.

Queen Isis was married to her brother Osiris who was ruler of the throne. They were the children of Nut and Geb, and had an additional sister named Nephthys and brother Set. Isis was supposed to marry Set, not Osiris. When a jealous Set slew the beloved Osiris and dropped his body into the Nile, Isis did not simply mourn her lost love, but moved all forces of nature and rescued the body of her husband from where it had come to rest in Byblos.

Some versions of this tale claim that when Isis heard of this she took a boat made of papyrus – a plant abhorred by crocodiles— and sailing about she gathered together the fragments of Osiris’s body, wheresoever she found one, and buried it and built a tomb over it.

    pyrdjedpyr

Isis, with her sister Nephthys were preparing for the ceremonial burial of Osiris when his murderer Set stole the body and hacked it into fourteen pieces. Some versions claim Typhon also known as Set was out hunting by the light of the moon, and he found the chest, and recognizing the body, tore it into fourteen pieces, which he scattered up and down throughout the land.

At length she traced it to Byblos, where it had been carried by the sea, and she found that the waves had gently laid it among the branches of a tamarisk tree, which had grown to a magnificent size, and had enclosed the chest within its trunk.

With the god Anubis, Isis bound him together to make him whole, save for his phallus. In one version of the myth Isis formed a new phallus and attached it to her deceased husband’s body. For this and her unfathomable skills of re-creation, she is called Isis, ‘great of magic.’

She made magic wings for herself and became a desert kite, circling the sky, wailing and lamenting over the deceased Osiris. The wings and the wind they created wafted the breath of life into the dead Osiris. The devoted wife mounted her husband and with their union, conceived a son, Horus. Fearful that the jealous Set would seek out and injure her son, she bid her husband farewell.

They believe that Osiris descended into the underworld and by some means obtained a new life, where he reigned over the Netherworld as god and king. Isis went out into the wilderness, gave birth to Horus and hid him in the papyrus marshes, guarding him from Set and the natural forces and dangers, such as snakes and predators, until he came of age.

Ever after, kings were the incarnation of Horus and the kings sought the protection of the goddess. The ancient regents saw the goddess with a throne upon her head and reached out to the divine essence of royalty. As wife of Osiris associated with kingship and the deceased kings of Egypt, and as mother of Horus, the falcon god, always associated with the living Pharaoh, Isis with her powers of love and magic became the epitome of the rights of kings.

Pictures of Isis and Horus are always of a woman holding a baby with a circle of light around both their heads. The light represents the sun god, or powers of the sun.

The followers of Osiris believed in a material heaven, but the heaven they believed in was associated with water, because they believe that Osiris died and became the god of the dead or the underworld, and he rises through the “waters of heaven” into a boat on the Nile. This is why he became the god of the waters in their belief system.

The result of this tale is the the following symbols for Osiris:

    osirisdjed

One of his symbols is the djed pillar, a tree-trunk – the tet.

    osiristet2

It was considered to represent his spine and indicated stability; the stability of eternal life.  Note that this is a phallus-like symbol is indicative of the god of this world and the worship of sex by the media.

I considered this material for a book, but it is more readily available on the internet for anyone to see, versus having to pay for a book, which, in these times, may not be affordable to some. So again, I’ve gotta warn you about the depth in this study.

You will need to follow all of this study to fully understand what God has revealed to me in all of this, and I will be putting this notice in the studies and maybe even links back to other posts in this study, because I’m going down levels here.

If you are simply reading this one post, you will not get it all. Your understanding will be impaired as to the big picture. The individual studies may give you some understanding in the context of that individual section, but the overall scope of this will not be understood unless you follow through the entire study. Bear in mind…I’m still digging under the reference of Isaiah 1:1 at this time, and what is following is the result of that search, but fair warning…it’s a vast amount of information and is quite complex.

Ok, so we know that Jotham followed God, but something in the water just didn’t smell right with this guy. So when I cross-referenced I found this:

2Ki 15:34   He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Uzziah had done.

2Ki 15:35   The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the temple of the Lord.

I wanted to know what these “high places” referred to. I saw in 1 Ki. 15:4, that his grandfather Amaziah had also not removed these same “high places,” which means they carried through his father, Uzziah’s reign as well. The same occurred in 1 Ki. 12:3 with another king.

I found yet another reference for “high places” in 1 Ki. 11:7 after Solomon began marrying all the foreign women, and serving other gods. Some of you might remember the reference I made to the book of Joshua being a book of victory, and the book of Judges being a book of defeat, and of course, here it is again in the book of defeat. Judg. 2:13 again mentions it, but this time with an identity attached.

Jdg 2:13   because they forsook him and served Baal and the Ashtoreths.

The law concerning this is found here:

Deu 16:21   Do not set up any wooden Asherah pole[fn2] beside the altar you build to the Lord your God,

Deu 16:22   and do not erect a sacred stone, for these the Lord your God hates.

    Footnotes:

16:21 Or Do not plant any tree dedicated to Asherah

So let’s find out who and/or what an Asherah pole represents.

Asherah: And pl. Asherim in Revised Version, instead of “grove” and “groves” of the Authorized Version. This was the name of a sensual Canaanitish goddess Astarte, the feminine of the Assyrian Ishtar. Its symbol was the stem of a tree deprived of its boughs, and rudely shaped into an image, and planted in the ground. Such religious symbols (“groves”) are frequently alluded to in Scripture (Exd 34:13; Jdg 6:25; 2Ki 23:6; 1Ki 16:33, etc.). These images were also sometimes made of silver or of carved stone (2Ki 21:7; “the graven image of Asherah,” R.V.). (See GROVE [1].).

    Grove:

(1.) Heb. ‘asherah, properly a wooden image, or a pillar representing Ashtoreth, a sensual Canaanitish goddess, probably usually set up in a grove (2Ki 21:7; 23:4). In the Revised Version the word “Asherah” (q.v.) is introduced as a proper noun, the name of the wooden symbol of a goddess, with the plurals Asherim (Exd 34:13) and Asheroth (Jdg 3:13).

The LXX. have rendered _asherah_ in 2Ch 15:16 by “Astarte.” The Vulgate has done this also in Jdg 3:7.

(2.) Heb. ‘eshel (Gen 21:33). In 1Sa 22:6 and 1Sa 31:13 the Authorized Version renders this word by “tree.” In all these passages the Revised Version renders by “tamarisk tree.” It has been identified with the Tamariscus orientalis, five species of which are found in Palestine.

(3.) The Heb. word ‘elon, uniformly rendered in the Authorized Version by “plain,” properly signifies a grove or plantation. In the Revised Version it is rendered, pl., “oaks” (Gen 13:18; 14:13; 18:1; 12:6; Deu 11:30; Jos 19:33). In the earliest times groves are mentioned in connection with religious worship. The heathen consecrated groves to particular gods, and for this reason they were forbidden to the Jews (Jer 17:3; Eze 20:28).

    Tamarisk:

Heb. ‘eshel (Gen 21:33; 1Sa 22:6; 31:13, in the R.V.; but in A.V., “grove,” “tree”); Arab. asal. Seven species of this tree are found in Palestine. It is a “very graceful tree, with long feathery branches and tufts closely clad with the minutest of leaves, and surmounted in spring with spikes of beautiful pink blossoms, which seem to envelop the whole tree in one gauzy sheet of color” (Tristram’s Nat. Hist.).

Now I’ve seen that tree referenced before and I have to know more about that, because I have a thing about trees, and I see things in trees…I see symbolic things about either God, or his nature or the kingdom, or people in trees. So I definitely have to dig more into this, because if this tree is as “graceful” as it is described, why is it referenced to Asherah and an Asherah pole, which was obviously an object of idol worship? That’s what I want to find out. The Old Testament is so fascinating.

Since I have seen that word Tamarisk tree before, I gotta know about that…what it is; what it stands for, and story behind who it represents. You won’t believe what I found and the long range ramifications and connectivity of it all here in modern times. This is why when people make foolish statements about how the bible, or certain segments of it is not for this day and time…they really don’t know what they are talking about. The enemy has progressed throughout the centuries, utilizing modern technology for his purposes, and designing new symbols for the same old mess.  This requires a separation and designation all on its own because I found so much information. Aside from that, I really need to break it down for you, so you will know who Asherah really is…all her names…and who she is alleged by her followers to represent. It’s just amazing how God ties things together.

Hello everyone. Let me just say that I’m astonished with God…and how he’s using an ant like me to reach into far corners of places that I never in my wildest dreams imagined I’d touch, come near or have contact with…but it’s there…right there in my footprints. What’s there you ask? Well…I mentioned a few posts ago…I think my new year’s resolution post, that I had been visited by the Russian Federation. I thought it was a fluke, but it has happened since…about 3 times. Today, I discovered that The Islamic Republic of Iran has visited my site. All I can say…is that my mouth fell open. The other stuff that is making my mouth drop are as follows.

First of all…for the sake of this illustration, I will use a car, and I will reference the Katrina storm. Ok…for those who’s memories are not as short-lived as most people’s politically; some of you remember that many cars were submerged under water as a result of that storm. Some of you may not know that many of those cars were brought to Florida, the land of the scam…and sold at auction.

Now, when those cars got submerged, what happened? The water did some serious damage, the main one in being cutting off the powersource, or the electrical charge, which is the power of the vehicle to move and function as it should. This is a parallel of what happens when one takes a manufactered product and disregards the manufacturer’s guidelines on the proper function of that product.

For instance, if you buy an iron, and decide to plug it in and use it to heat the water in your bathtub, you will get a shock because you have gone against the manufacturer’s specific instruction and warnings on the proper environment and use of that product. The shock you get will not be because the manufacturer wanted to punish you, but the direct result of the fact that the principles on which that product was made were violated, and subsequently, there is an end result of the violation of a principle; because the principle for the item never changes…it is always in accordance with the manufacturer’s expressed design of that item.

In addition, another principle of any manufactered item that never changes is the environment in which that item will function at optimum levels in accordance with the specified design of the manufacturer. If, as in the iron and car illustrations, the product is removed from its intended environment, it will automatically malfunction. This is the case with man. Man is a very well-thought out, intricately designed machine that could not have been created by anything or anyone other than God. At the inception of His creation, we were perfect and functioning at optimal level…that which was the intended level of performance and existence. Sin is the malfunctioning of man…outside of the presence of God, and therefore, not fulfilling the function and intention of the Creator.

We were removed from the place of ultimate performance…the garden of Eden. What is the garden of Eden? It is the garden of the presence of God. When mankind fell by the actions of Adam and Eve, everyone immediately lost their connection with the environment they were meant to function in…God’s presence. We weren’t created to function outside His presence. Just as Adam walked with God in the garden and they communed together (communing with someone is like very close and personal communication…the type of communication you save for someone very special…a best friend or the love of your life), that is how our “manufacturer,” God intended for us to function…in constant communication with Him…always in His presence.

However, God is holy, and thus, sin cannot be in His presence. Remember when Lucifer was found with iniquity in him…what happened? It was not God who fought him and kicked him out of heaven. Why? Because sin cannot enter the presence of God. The cheribim and the seraphim are a specific type of angels which have the job of guarding the “presence” or the holiness of God. That is why they were represented on the ark of the covenant as upon and before the throne.

If any of you remember Raiders of the Lost Ark…what happened when the ark was opened by unclean hands? All the unclean were disintegrated by the fire/force that came out from it. That is because sin cannot stand in the presence of God. That fire wasn’t even God’s presence. It was yet another mechanism that protects His presence.

    Raiders

In old testament times, they went from open altars to closed ones…to the temple. This is a demonstration of the desire/thirst and seeking necessary to enter into the presence of God, because there are many rooms in the temple that you have to cross through before you even get near the inner sanctuary and the holy of holies. First, we went from being in His presence, to cast out of it due to sin. This is because the death spoken of was on more than one level.

Yes, physical death came into the picture. But spiritual death entered because sin is the malfunction of the machine that is man, and it causes a separation from the presence of God…that separation is death. A machine that is “separated” from its source of power cannot function, and is considered to be dead, and scrap metal.

At the same time, if you check the old testament, you will see some examples of the fact that whenever anyone unclean attempted to enter the holy of holies in the temple…they were struck down and/or burnt up. That is due to the cheribim and seraphim that guard God’s holiness. God would never even have the chance to see your sin enter his presence. You could never even get that far into the inner sanctum. His angels…the cheribim and seraphim would strike you dead if you even attempted to enter the threshold. In fact…you cannot even enter the temple of God if you are unclean/not covered with the blood of Christ.

So God does not punish sin. The results of sin are the results of manufacture principles…example: Manufacturer’s instruction: do not submerge an iron in water; Principle/result: electrical shock will occur. It’s an automatic. So if you are suffering some pain or hurt in your life…it is the direct result of a malfunctioning in your machinery, and you need to find/get the manufacturer’s instructions to find out either how to operate that part correctly, or how to restore it, and your entire self/machinery back into correct function according to the manufacter’s principles. This means coming back into the proper environment first (His presence), as well as following the instructions given on how to function in that environment.

For those who don’t know…the door to that correct environment is Jesus Christ, and all you need to do to go through that door is believe in your heart that He died for your sins…He died to enable you to come into the environment that was intended for you, so that you could learn to function properly…in God’s presence as before.

Please understand that entering a doorway in no means indicates that you’ve arrived. Many enter the door, and then take an infant seat to get fed…as you come into anything that is new to you as a baby in that particular thing. Most Christians continue to sit there wanting to get spoon fed, instead of doing what most babies do. They grab the spoon and try to feed themselves. After a while of learning to feed themselves, they move up and out of an infant seat into a booster chair and subsequently into a regular chair as they grow, but this is all because they initiate self-edification/feeding, and all the while, they are learning to crawl and then walk.

We as Christians, are not supposed to just sit in an infant chair for years…or just sit there to be seen. When you enter that doorway…there are other doorways deeper into the building to be seen and entered, but most never even get close, because they are too lazy to make the effort needed in the steps above, to get to the stage of actually getting out of the chair and walking towards the next doorway/level. They often stay in the same outer room…saved, but not growing in intimacy and closeness to God…not seeking His presence, which according to the scaled model we see of the temple…was way inside.

Please don’t misunderstand. When we do praise and worship at our respective churches…the music minister says something like, “Let’s usher in the presence of God.” That sounds good in theory, but if there are unsaved in the church, or people that are there for the first time that don’t know Christ, or wolves among sheep; since God cannot be in the presence of sin…then we cannot usher anything in other than His glory, but certainly not His presence.

There were several rooms you had to go through in order to reach the inner sanctum…the holy of holies, where God’s presence was dwelling, and there were several rituals of cleansing needed…submission, in order to get there. Remember that scripture that mentions being purified in the fire? The dross is burnt away…right? Well…the dross is what happens to a machine that is outside it’s proper environment, because it’s malfunctioning. Just like when a malfunctioning machine is turned into scrap metal…what happens? It is thrown into the fire…dross being burnt off, so that when that sin/malfunction is gone (melted away), it can be used to build something that will function correctly…within the purity of the design. When a person in this scrap metal state attempts to go into the presence of God within their own malfunctioning merits, and not pure and fully functional as I mentioned above…they become as dross.

When a child of God that is seeking with a pure heart is moving through the chambers into His presence, then the dross is self-centeredness (the main cause of malfunction) that is burnt away due to that person’s willingness to bow in complete submission.

The only reason that we, as Christians can experience the presence of God at all…is because the blood of Christ covers our sin and God doesn’t see it. If that blood was not covering us…we’d be burnt up by the cheribim and seraphim before we could even get near God’s presence.

So with a car that’s been water damaged like that…what is needed to restore it to proper function? Well, first, it would need to be dried out. You may have to replace certain parts just to enable the mechanisms that initiate and receive the charge to function properly. You may have to flush out and clean the fluids.

So all of this is the recovery process, and it takes time. People who walk through the doorway of Christ, cannot expect that they are ready to walk through the doorway of the next inner room immediately, because they have to get fed and grow to a state in which they can self-feed, and learn from crawling to walking in Him. All this requires time in the word and prayer, as well as praise and worship.

If all you do is sit in a church once or twice a week, but do no personal study…and I’m not talking about devotionals…which only serve to encourage you in your walk; but serious investigative study…research into God’s word. If you aren’t doing that…how do you expect to reach the next level? I always hear people say…”Wow…I wish I understood like that.” Well, the reason you don’t is because you don’t put in the time. You don’t seek Him out. You don’t search for answers. You just expect a pastor to fill in the gaps in your knowledge for you. That’s not his job.

His job is to shepard the sheep…direct them to where the feeding ground is…but he doesn’t feed them. The sheep feed themselves. And mind you…sheep are supposed to be dumb, yet they feed themselves, and the shepard simply guards and directs them to feeding grounds…to the best grass. If you are getting properly fed…because you are feeding yourself through seeking and searching out the Word, then at some point, you will lose your “dumb” sheep status.

A malfunctioning machine needs to be reconnected to it’s source…the electrical force which charges it…animates it…and/or causes it to move in the function intended when it was constructed. Only when that connection is restored, is there any chance of the machine being fully restored…properly lubricated by the Word, so that the mechanisms are enabled by the Spirit to function fully and optimally as intended.

At this point…I am looking to move further into the inner rooms as I make my way further into His presence. I find that the typical “church” environment is lacking in drawing or ushering in His presence in this manner, as the presence of God cannot be ushered into a setting where wolves are among sheep.

So at this time, I am waiting on God to show me where He wants me so that I can find the level of worship and praise I need in a “house of worship,” but that is at the same time…demonstrating the true and nature of mature worship and praise in the Spirit, as opposed to the false entertainment show and emotional cheerleading that goes on in some places that are called “a house of worship.”

I’m looking for the real deal…and honestly, I don’t know if it is within the structure we know of as a “church, ” or if it is in personal gatherings with like-minded individuals. So I’m waiting on an answer and direction from God on this. Peace and blessings.

  • The Book of Isaiah Chapter 1 V.1 Part 3.1

    The Book of Isaiah

    Chapter 1 V.1 Part 3.1

Now let’s check out the second king listed here:

    Isa 1:1

THE vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

    Jotham:

    Jehovah is perfect.

(2.) The son and successor of Uzziah on the throne of Judah. As during his last years Uzziah was excluded from public life on account of his leprosy, his son, then twenty-five years of age, administered for seven years the affairs of the kingdom in his father’s stead (2Ch 26:21,23; 27:1). After his father’s death he became sole monarch, and reigned for sixteen years (B.C. 759-743). He ruled in the fear of God, and his reign was prosperous. He was contemporary with the prophets Isaiah, Hosea, and Micah, by whose ministrations he profited. He was buried in the sepulchre of the kings, greatly lamented by the people (2Ki 15:38; 2Ch 27:7-9).

Ok. That’s the overview, but I want to know the real deal. Let’s look at this:

2Ch 27:2   And he did what was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah had done (although he did not enter the temple of the LORD). But still the people acted corruptly.

So this guy followed God, and did right in the sight of Him, according to the things his dad did, while he was still right with God. He carried on those projects his dad initiated etc;. (This reminds me of GW in his agenda to get Sadaam Husein – carrying on his father’s projects.) The question is…why were the people still acting corruptly? If you have a man who follows God (note that I didn’t say a man of God), what was wrong in his leadership that created an atmosphere in which the people would still be acting corruptly? Something here is just not right.

First…let’s look at who he came from. We already know about his father Uzziah, but what about moms?

    Jerusha:

possession, or possessed; i.e., “by a husband”, the wife of Uzziah, and mother of king Jotham (2Ki 15:33).

    Another definition says:

Jerushah or Jerusha = “dispossessor” banished; possession; inheritance

    1) the wife of king Uzziah and mother of king Jotham of Judah

Zadok was her father’s name; he may be the priest of 1Ch 6:12 (Hebrew 5:38).

    Zadok = “righteous”

Now the thing that’s coming to mind here is that word “dispossessor” and “banished.” We already know that women were treated as possessions of men in those times, so that’s basically a mute point. But the word dispossessor puts a whole new spin on things. It brings to mind statements I’ve heard or read in the past about God’s people not receiving; not possessing the land; walking with God but never obtaining the promise or never getting their full reward.

In addition, this name also means banished and also inheritance. It makes me wonder if it is actually speaking of an inheritance of banishment from God…of constant failing to possess, and thus, as such, it would appear to be a faith issue. So coming from parents with these names might create an interesting dynamic. His father’s name means, “the Lord is my strength,” and his mother’s name means, “depossessor.” It certain sounds like a faith issue. Let’s find out.

Now when I cross-referenced the people in 2Ch 27:2 this is what I found:

Eze 30:13  ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “ ‘I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis (Noph). No longer will there be a prince in Egypt, and I will spread fear throughout the land. ”

    Noph = “presentability”

Noph: The Hebrew name of an Egyptian city (Isa 19:13; Jer 2:16; 44:1; 46:14,19; Eze 30:13,16). In Hsa 9:6 the Hebrew name is Moph, and is translated “Memphis,” which is its Greek and Latin form. It was one of the most ancient and important cities of Egypt, and stood a little to the south of the modern Cairo, on the western bank of the Nile. It was the capital of Lower Egypt. Among the ruins found at this place is a colossal statue of Rameses the Great. (See MEMPHIS.)

Memphis: Only in Hsa 9:6, Hebrew Moph. In Isa 19:13; Jer 2:16; 46:14, 19; Eze 30:13, 16, it is mentioned under the name Noph. It was the capital of Lower, i.e., of Northern Egypt. From certain remains found half buried in the sand, the site of this ancient city has been discovered near the modern village of Minyet Rahinch, or Mitraheny, about 16 miles above the ancient head of the Delta, and 9 miles south of Cairo, on the west bank of the Nile. It is said to have been founded by Menes, the first king of Egypt, and to have been in circumference about 19 miles. “There are few remains above ground,” says Manning (The Land of the Pharaohs), “of the splendour of ancient Memphis. The city has utterly disappeared. If any traces yet exist, they are buried beneath the vast mounds of crumbling bricks and broken pottery which meet the eye in every direction. Near the village of Mitraheny is a colossal statue of Rameses the Great. It is apparently one of the two described by Herodotus and Diodorus as standing in front of the temple of Ptah. They were originally 50 feet in height. The one which remains, though mutilated, measures 48 feet. It is finely carved in limestone, which takes a high polish, and is evidently a portrait. It lies in a pit, which, during the inundation, is filled with water. As we gaze on this fallen and battered statue of the mighty conqueror who was probably contemporaneous with Moses, it is impossible not to remember the words of the prophet Isaiah, 19:13; 44:16-19, and Jeremiah, 46:19.”

I want you to take note of the two names I highlighted with bold text. I will get back to them. In fact, I want you to pay attention to all the names I highlight in the next few sections, because they are all related, and are all representing the same individuals.

I’m sure you’re wondering why all of this is relevant. Yeah, I did too, so I did some more digging. At this point, I’ve gotta start putting out a warning. This is gonna get deep. You will need to follow all of this study to fully understand what God has revealed to me in all of this, and I will be putting this notice in the studies and maybe even links back to other posts in this study, because I’m going down levels here. Bear in mind…I’m still digging under the reference of Isaiah 1:1 at this time, and what is following is the result of that search, but fair warning…it’s vast and complex. Man! It’s amazing how this is all connected but check the next post for more on that.

  • The Book of Isaiah Chapter 1 V.1 Part 2.2

    The Book of Isaiah

    Chapter 1 V.1 Part 2.2

The offering that both Saul and Uzziah had offered were fellowship offerings. In the case of Saul, it is apparent that his actions were based on fear as well as pride and arrogance; neither of which has any “fellowship” with God. What both of these men did, was spoil the alter with their presence.

They were not clean; they were not chosen to come before the Lord; they were not holy; they did not have “fellowship” with Him, because in these times, it was the prophets that had that fellowship, as well as some of the priests of the Levites, who had been set aside for this purpose.

Fellowship is a reference to sharing things in common. This is why scriptures say that darkness has no “fellowship” with light. This was the case here, and is especially evident in the pride and arrogance both of these men demonstrated.

The veil of the temple was not yet rent. Everyone did not have access, and therefore it was arrogant to think that, because these men had the “title” of king…this meant that at their own choosing, they could violate the sanctity of the temple with their presence. The fact that they were attempting to make a sacrifice is null and void, because what does God’s word always say? “Obedience is better than sacrifice.” There is no justification that can excuse someone who acts in this manner.

People are always trying to violate rules, regulations or ordinances, and they always have some self-justifying reason as to why their act of violation should be deemed acceptable. In this instance, it is clear that God accepts no such justifications, so for the “Christians” who try to water down the word to make it more acceptable to non-Christians, or even to justify their own mess; you do an injustice to yourself and others, because its not the truth.

This was the same reason that God did not accept Cain’s offering in Genesis. Because these men wanted God their way, and on their terms, and God doesn’t operate like that. He is the Almighty. What fool would dare to think that God will bow to them? To His own creation? Wealth and position on this earth means nothing, and makes you nothing and no one before God. He does not cater to the rich like poor and desperate people do. He is not impressed. There is nothing a rich man can offer God that will “get Him on their side/team” to do their bidding. God does not compromise. He is a God of integrity and if we don’t respect Him as such, He will bend our knees until we do. If we still resist and refuse in rebellion, He will separate us…isolate us away from Himself and everyone else. Away from Him, our existence will be sad, lonely and pitiful.

Azariah the high priest saw the tendency of such a daring act on the part of the king, and with a band of eighty priests he withstood him (2Ch 26:17), saying, “It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense.” Uzziah was suddenly struck with leprosy while in the act of offering incense (26:19-21), and he was driven from the temple and compelled to reside in “a several house” to the day of his death (2Ki 15:5,27; 2Ch 26:3). He was buried in a separate grave “in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings” (2Ki 15:7; 2Ch 26:23). “That lonely grave in the royal necropolis would eloquently testify to coming generations that all earthly monarchy must bow before the inviolable order of the divine will, and that no interference could be tolerated with that unfolding of the purposes of God, which, in the fullness of time, would reveal the Christ, the true High Priest and King for evermore.”

It’s interesting to see the punishments given because in this case, because Uzziah did not recognize that one must be separate, and put aside, sanctified and holy to come before the Lord, he was then made separate, and was put aside in his filth with one of the worse diseases known to men at that time period; a disease that made him an outcast. He was excluded from the temple. His former glory was gone, and he lived a sad and lonely existence until he died and was buried in a separate grave away from the burial place of the kings, and away from the other graveyards. He was buried near them but was not counted with them even in death.

  • Joke of the day!

I was with my son at his middle school today, at the afterschool Christian club, First Priority. One of the kid’s father, who is a pastor, was speaking about putting God first. He told the kids that they need to do three things: study, pray, and do. He stated that they need to  talk to God, and allow Him to talk to them. Then he asked if the kids had a best friend. He stated that God needed to be their best friend.

Then he asked, “When your best friend calls you on the phone, how do you know its them?

One kid hollered out an answer: Caller ID

  • Very, Very Necessary…

    Hey yall,

    Have You Seen This?

    invisibly visible identifying masonic symbols

This is a must see. I don’t know who this brother is that checked all this out and put out the info, but I sure appreciate his effort and wisdom in sharing this info. Christians…we need to wake up and get conscious! I wouldn’t have found this if not for letseewhatthiswilldo, who advised me about the jewish star symbol in my photos.

However, let me just state for the record that I did not post that with any kaballah/freemasonry in mind, and had no idea that that symbol was being used in that manner as well. It was used to explain this: heshewethreeillustrated. It was the something God showed me and the reason for the name/handle I use on this site. You might also want to check out the poem here: Meaning of my name to get the full picture.

So to clarify…I’m not into or in agreement with masonry in any way. It was the Jewish star I was referencing, and the video above does give a slight explanation by a Jewish priest as to the aspect wherein the star of David is being used for a kaballah/freemasonry symbol.

Also, one must consider that despite our faith being based on the faith of the Jewish race, the fact that Christ is not involved in their faith does place it in technically an occult status, because it is without Christ as many religions are. I’m not trying to offend anyone, so please don’t take it that way.

I still support the Jewish people because they are God’s chosen, but we also know that currently, they are still in darkness. That’s all I’m saying. I don’t believe that David’s star was originally conceived for the purposes of kaballah/freemasonry, but for God’s glory, and I do believe that the enemy has created/twisted the symbol into an object of profanity for his own use.

I highly recommend the viewing of the above video, because we need to be aware of these things. Peace and blessings all.
