The Next Cycle of 40 Part 10 Section 4
The Next Cycle of 40
Part 10 Section 4
Fred Price said that too many Christians today are unaware of the battleground. Because of that, they are destroyed due to this lack of awareness. That’s where my focus starts…at the beginning of the lack of awareness. Now, this is where Gary’s study on this subject started. It goes on for several posts which, if you understand it, are quite fascinating.
When the serpent spoke to Eve in the garden, he spoke to Iyshshah…her earth man…her clay body. Then she in turn spoke to Iysh, Adam’s clay body in giving him the fruit. The serpent spoke to the clay because he knew the clay. He marred the clay. This is how he gets us outside of the will of God. He speaks not to the spirit man, but to the clay, because that is the body of his influence…that is the substance with properties he can magnetically affect.
But God…provided plenty for our Adam (spirit man) and Adamah (spirit of Eve) to feed upon. Herbs bearing seed…trees yielding fruit yielding seed. He set a pattern for us to follow in the very beginning. Feed on this…food that processes (photosynthesizes), yields and responds to light.
I could write alot on this subject, and actually I have, but for my purposes here…that tidbit will suffice. I wanted you to see the word Iysh. Gary broke the meaning down clearly in the post where his study starts. I wanted you to see this word Iysh, because this is the Hebrew word for man in only one instance in Genesis in reference to Adam. Gary described this word as meaning a mortal being, weak, desperate (perhaps even halt or handicapped in some stand-out way) and quite different from the other man known as Adam. The other man is the spirit man…the created one.
There is a distinct difference between something that is created and something that is formed. One requires a great deal more thought and planning than the other. How does this man Iysh relate to this part of my study?
I looked up Ishbosheth and this is how the word breaks down:
Ishbosheth ‘Iysh-Bosheth
“a man of shame”
Root word H376: ‘iysh
) man
a) man, male (in contrast to woman, female)
b) husband
c) human being, person (in contrast to God)
d) servant
e) mankind
f) champion
g) great man
2) whosoever
3) each (adjective)
and H1322 bosheth
1) shame
a) shame
b) shameful thing
God set a man that walked in and only knew of his clay self…and was magnetically drawn to the things of this world…the things that bring shame; over His people. The parallel is this. God allowed a “man of shame” to temporarily rule. All the while the Spirit was there, as this man turned 40, the number of the Spirit, prior to his rule beginning. So this temporary rule by the man of shame was a holy endeavor and had God’s purposes behind it. He ruled a short time, only two years, and then he was overthrown…correction…eliminated. Likewise, Satan’s time is limited. His influence is shortlived. Why? Because what he offers cannot satisfy as it is temporal and caters to the temporal clay we exist in. We are programmed to seek something more fulfilling. This is why any time you see a man of shame in a position of power or authority…you can rest assured that it is temporal.
